The Belfast trio of Mo Chara, Moglaí Bap and producer DJ Próvaí bring a bilingual rap that moves between Irish and English, mixing dark humour with a clear-eyed take on everyday life. Born from the realities of post-conflict Northern Ireland, their tracks twist symbols, poke at politics and turn street detail into sharp storytelling. On stage, their back-and-forth delivers hooks built for crowd response, with heavy basslines and sample-led beats giving their words bite and momentum.
Sharing the bill, The Mary Wallopers come from Dundalk with a folk sound rooted in Irish ballads and pub-born harmonies. Led by brothers Charles and Andrew Hendy with Sean McKenna, the group keeps arrangements simple and direct—guitars, banjo, voices—letting the songs carry tales of working lives, local legends and wry humour. Their set shifts between tradition and new writing, inviting call-and-response and a communal feel that turns a field into a snug.
