Mac DeMarco plays O2 Academy Brixton, London on 11 June 2026. The Canadian songwriter has spent the 2010s shaping a mellow blend of jangle pop, soft rock and lo-fi textures, from the early Rock and Roll Night Club and 2 to Salad Days and Another One, then the stripped-back turns of This Old Dog and Here Comes the Cowboy. In 2023 he drifted into instrumentals with Five Easy Hot Dogs and opened his archives on One Wayne G. On stage he moves between breezy guitar lines, unhurried rhythms and intimate melodies that circle everyday stories, letting the songs stretch and breathe without losing their edge. His sets slide from chorus-soaked riffs to hushed, home-recorded sketches, with space for those road-trip instrumentals.
US musician Otto Benson, also known as Memo Boy and OTTO, joins the bill, presenting material from his parallel projects and setting the stage for DeMarco.
