Westside Cowboy

Westside Cowboy lands in Leeds on 27 November 2026 at The Leeds Irish Centre. The UK quartet—Reuben Haycocks, James Bradbury, Aoife Anson O’Connell and Paddy Murphy—writes collectively and plays with a taste for tension and release. Their sound lives between country, indie rock and art rock, with broad melodies, wiry guitars and a deliberately rough finish, a mix they call Britainicana.

After a first run of tracks noticed on the UK indie circuit, the band released the EP So Much Country ’Till We Get There in January 2026 on Adventure Recordings, recorded in New York with producer Loren Humphrey. It digs into rock drive and folk-country accents without chasing American pastiche, sharpening their sense for tight, lingering hooks.

On stage, Westside Cowboy brings out the most direct and abrasive side of its songs. A fast-rising live profile—UK tour in early 2026, US dates in late 2025, shows with Geese and Black Country, New Road, and slots at Glastonbury, Green Man and End of the Road—feeds a set built on interplay and momentum.
