Solya brings her genre-blending indie to The Lower Third in London on 7 August 2026. Split between the wide spaces of West Texas and the North American DIY circuit, she threads indie pop with psych-rock haze, grunge edges, a hint of country and a discreet electronic pulse. A self-taught home recorder at first, she began sharing self-produced tracks in 2023, carving out an introspective writing style and a sound that drifts and cuts in equal measure. Those early releases quickly led to the stage: US shows, a co-headline “Bugs and Butterflies” tour with Baby Bugs in late 2024, UK dates in March 2025, then a set at West Hollywood’s Troubadour that September.

Live, Solya plays with contrasts: bright melodic lines against dreamlike textures, guitars that occasionally snarl, and a close-focus vocal delivery rooted in her DIY beginnings. Her debut album, Queen of Texas, announced for March 2026 on Version III, comes paired with a 28-date North American headline tour. This London date catches the project mid-evolution, refining songs that balance openness and grit while keeping the intimate core of her first recordings.
