Pete Tong presents « Ibiza Classics »

Pete Tong brings Ibiza Classics to Lincoln Castle in Lincoln on 12 June 2026. A fixture of UK club culture, he moved from early soul scenes to A&R at London Records, helping usher Chicago house into the UK with The House Sound of Chicago, Vol. 1 in 1986. On BBC Radio 1, his Essential Selection from 1991 and Essential Mix from 1993 have framed how electronic music is heard and shared, while his residencies in Ibiza — from Pure Pacha to Wonderland and All Gone Pete Tong — have shaped dancefloors season after season.

Ibiza Classics is Tong’s live project built from that history: a curated journey through house and dance anthems, reimagined with orchestral scale without losing the club’s pulse. Developed alongside conductor and arranger Jules Buckley and The Heritage Orchestra, it has spawned a series of albums — Classic House (2016), Ibiza Classics (2017), Chilled Classics (2019) and Pete Tong & Friends - Ibiza Classics (2021). On stage, Tong connects crate-digger instincts with broad-appeal selections, revisiting tracks that marked Chicago’s roots, UK breakthroughs and Balearic nights, for a show that treats dance music like a living songbook.
