Info
On 13 October 2026, Jill Scott brings her To Whom This May Concern 2026 Tour to Royal Albert Hall, London. The Philadelphia-born singer, poet and actress emerged at the turn of the 2000s within the neo-soul movement, linking classic soul, contemporary R&B, jazz phrasing and spoken word. Before stepping into the spotlight she co-wrote You Got Me for The Roots, then released her debut Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1 (2000), followed by Beautifully Human (2004) and The Real Thing (2007). Later records The Light of the Sun (2011) and Woman (2015) pushed further into jazz, funk and gospel colours, carried by warm arrangements and a flexible, expressive voice.
On stage, Scott blends storytelling and call-and-response with live-band dynamics and organic grooves. The set spans her catalogue, from slow-burning ballads to mid-tempo cuts, with spoken interludes that echo her early café and poetry-slam years. A tour that reconnects her discography with the Philadelphia soul tradition that runs through her music.
