Info
On 14 December 2026, Kodaline bring their Farewell Tour to O2 Academy Glasgow. Formed in Swords, County Dublin, the quartet of Steve Garrigan, Mark Prendergast, Vinny May Jr. and Jason Boland first emerged as 21 Demands before becoming Kodaline in 2012. Their songs lean on clear guitars, piano-led arrangements and unfussy melodies, moving between indie pop textures and alternative rock. Across the albums In a Perfect World (2013), Coming Up for Air (2015), Politics of Living (2018) and One Day at a Time (2020), they expanded their production while keeping to personal themes—relationships, absence and memory—and a band-first approach to songwriting.
For this final run, the set traces each era of their catalogue, from early breakthrough tracks to more recent material. Expect shifts from quiet verses to big choruses, with the piano taking the lead one moment and ringing guitars the next. Steve Garrigan’s voice stays at the centre, while Prendergast, Boland and May Jr. hold the dynamics tight. It’s a show built on melody, harmonies and pacing, the kind of night where singalongs sit next to stripped-back moments, and a decade of songs gets a proper curtain call.
