Au/Ra plays Exchange, Bristol on 12 May 2026, bringing her shadow-tinged electronic pop and candid, diary-like writing. Ibiza-born, Antigua-raised and from a German musical family, she blends atmospheric synths, dark pop textures and clear, memorable hooks. Her lyrics probe mental health, the pressure of social media and the feeling of being out of place while shaping an identity.
On stage, she connects introspection and release: early standouts like Concrete Jungle and Panic Room sit alongside electronic crossovers such as Darkside with Alan Walker and i miss u with Jax Jones. The thread is narrative; since the Outsiders era, each track has formed part of a coherent world where mood and melody move together, from intimate confessions to refrains made to stick.
