Seedhe Maut bring their New Delhi rap to Birmingham on 26 May 2026 at O2 Academy Birmingham. The duo — Encore ABJ (Abhijay Negi) and Calm (Siddhant Sharma) — work in Hindi and Urdu, switching between technical double-time and tight storytelling. First forged across open mics and indie circuits, their chemistry plays on contrast: rapid, percussive flows set against lines that slow the frame for detail. Themes tap into city life, social pressure and the push-pull between ambition and everyday reality, sketched through slice-of-life images.

On stage they carry the balance heard on Bayaan (2018) and Nayaab (2022): performance-driven cuts next to more reflective pieces and melodies that ease the edges. Production from the new wave of Indian beatmakers leans on bounce and bass, leaving space for the back-and-forth between the two voices. The show moves between introspective moments, straight-up flex tracks and tunes with a melodic tilt; even without catching every word, cadence and energy lead the way.
