Heavy Week-End: Sabaton

Sabaton, a leading figure of Swedish power metal, is returning to France with The Legendary Tour and a stop at Heavy Week-End. For more than twenty years, the band led by Joakim Brodén and Pär Sundström has been turning military history into songs, combining research, narratives and riffs crafted for the stage. Their 11th album, Legends, just released, focuses on figures such as Joan of Arc, Napoleon, Julius Caesar, Genghis Khan and Miyamoto Musashi—material ideally suited to a set conceived as a journey through the ages. On stage, Sabaton deploys precise storytelling and meticulous staging that bring battles and heroes to life, with martial keyboards, choirs and punchy guitars. After headlining Hellfest in 2022 and a sold-out Zénith de Paris in 2023, the band now presents its new tracks alongside its staples. The show is scheduled for Friday, June 5, 2026, at the outdoor amphitheater of the Zénith de Nancy, in Maxéville.
