Sessa

Sessa, the stage name of Brazilian singer-songwriter Sergio Sayeg, arrives in Milan on October 8, 2026 at Circolo Arci Bellezza with a songwriting approach that starts from Brazilian song and opens onto soul, folk, jazz and psychedelic pop. Raised in São Paulo with a period in New York, after his experience with Garotas Suecas he developed a personal, pared-down path: acoustic guitar up front, Afro‑Brazilian percussion, a focused voice and arrangements that leave room for listening.

With Grandeza (2019) he defined the contours of a sound often in slow tempi, rooted in MPB and crossed by echoes of samba and tropicalism. In Pequena Vertigem de Amor (2022) his palette expands toward a more nocturnal, mobile dimension, with touches of funk and soul and an important role for female backing vocals.

Live, Sessa brings this balance between intimacy and popular tradition: songs built on soft grooves, guitar and voice in dialogue with the percussion, restrained dynamics that gradually open up melodic space. An essential set that places songwriting and vocal work at the center, leaving rhythm and the choruses to drive the narrative.
