On 11 December 2026, Eluveitie will perform at the Garage in Saarbrücken, accompanied by Pain as special guest and with Wolfheart supporting.
Eluveitie, from the Zurich area and active since the early 2000s, combine folk and melodic death metal with influences from Celtic traditions. Between growls and clean vocals, violin, flutes, bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy mingle with guitars and driving rhythms. The lyrics alternate between English and reconstructed Gaulish, draw on history and mythology, and translate live into arrangements that tightly interweave heavy riffing and acoustic colours.
Pain is the industrial metal project of Peter Tägtgren from Sweden. Since the late 1990s he has fused heavy guitars, electronics and melodic hooks, writing and producing much of it himself and bringing the material to the stage with a band. Live, the songs come across more direct, with broad synth textures, a precise groove, and prominent, clear vocals.
Wolfheart, founded by Tuomas Saukkonen in Lahti, represent melodic death metal with a cold, northern atmosphere. Dense riffs, rough vocals and melancholic melodies shape a set that oscillates between fast tempos and more sustained passages, evoking images of winter, nature and war.
