Hiba Tawaji Invite Ibrahim Maalouf « Tournée »

On December 5, 2026, at l'Athanor in Montluçon, Hiba Tawaji reunites with Ibrahim Maalouf for a concert conceived as a dialogue. Trained in Beirut, between conservatory and stage, and brought to prominence by composer Oussama Rahbani, Hiba has shaped a repertoire in which Levantine pop blends with orchestrations close to classical music, jazz and the chanson tradition. Singing both in Arabic and in French, her soprano voice glides from ballads to crescendos, from her first album La Bidayi Wala Nihayi to her projects in France, including the role of Esmeralda in Notre-Dame de Paris.

With Ibrahim Maalouf as a guest, the encounter places the voice–trumpet exchange at its core: intertwining melodic lines, shared breaths, and a clear emphasis on the lyrics. Levantine influences, pop hues and carefully crafted arrangements outline a set that plays with dynamics, alternating between intimate passages and collective surges. Two artistic paths meet on stage, without borders of language or style.
