Mother Mother

Mother Mother bring their harmony-rich indie rock to Edmonton EXPO Centre in Edmonton on July 20, 2026. Formed by siblings Ryan and Molly Guldemond and completed by vocalist-keyboardist Jasmin Parkin, bassist Mike Young and drummer Ali Siadat, the Vancouver band has built a sound where vocal interplay, clean guitars and rhythmic swerves meet clear pop structures. Early albums like Touch Up and O My Heart laid out lyrics about identity and social dissonance; The Sticks and No Culture leaned into denser textures, while Inside and 2024’s Grief Chapter added a more reflective, melodic streak. On stage, the group shifts between taut alt-rock, hook-forward indie and slower ballads, with stacked voices steering the dynamics. The set spans their catalog, from older tracks rediscovered by a new online audience to recent material, stitched into a flow that favors contrast and momentum, and keeps the band’s taste for left turns at the surface.
