Info

On November 7, 2026, Robert Finley will be performing at the EMB Sannois – Espace Michel Berger in Sannois. Originally from Louisiana, he spent many years singing in the streets and in churches before releasing, at 62, a debut record that brought him to light. Since then he has put out a string of albums with Dan Auerbach and refined a signature sound that blends deep blues, Southern soul, rock’n’roll, jazz and folk. On stage, his deep, grainy voice carries stories drawn from real life, ranging from memories of his childhood in the bayou to accounts of life as a working musician.

This concert unfolds a repertoire that runs from Age Don’t Mean a Thing, Goin’ Platinum and Sharecropper’s Son to Black Bayou, an album steeped in the swamps of Louisiana. Expect smoldering riffs, grooves that settle in, gospel surges and ballads that breathe. Finley sings like people talking on a porch at nightfall, with unvarnished honesty, supported by simple, precise guitar playing. An evening to feel the blues in the present—without nostalgia or pose—by an artist who treats each song as a chapter of his story.
