For this occasion, Arca becomes a free and unpredictable sonic space: between new vibrations and echoes of the past, the dancefloor moves through hypnotic atmospheres without rules.
Dresden is the DJ duo of Manfredas and Ivan Smagghe and a series of parties held where they feel it is right. The two met over ten years ago at the Vilnius party Smala, where Manfredas was resident and gave Ivan a USB containing tracks that inspired him to create his Les Disques de la Mort label. There was a strong complicity between them, and the pandemic reset pushed them to create something new: Dresden was born at Opium Vilnius in November 2021.
At its core, Dresden is about all-night-long sets. There are few musical rules: a recognisable yet open sound, with new music at the forefront and memories resurfacing through a psychedelic haze.
