Nexup with Max Dean

On 13 September 2026 at 528 Ibiza, Max Dean brings NEXUP back for a second outdoor round. DJ, producer and head of neXup recz, the UK artist drives a house sound anchored in groove: tight drums, limber basslines, direct rhythms and club-ready hooks. His sets move fast, stitching punchy cuts and vocals with a clear sense of flow, built for open air energy without losing detail.

Shaped in booths and festivals across DC10 Ibiza with the Solid Grooves crew, Creamfields, The Warehouse Project and Mixmag Lab London, Max Dean keeps a focus on functional tracks that hit on big systems. As a curator, he uses NEXUP to bring new producers to the surface, often sliding fresh label finds next to his own releases. That range includes the crossover “Feel Much Better” with Nafe Smallz and Timbaland, as well as a rework of Azari III’s “Reckless”, hints of which sometimes surface in his selections.

For this Ibiza edition, expect rolling percussion, bass-led swing and warm textures dialled for dusk into night, with the NEXUP ethos—lean, groove-first, no filler—pushing the dancefloor from the first blend to the last drop.
