LANY bring their Los Angeles-born alt-pop to 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin, on June 4, 2026. Formed in 2014 by singer-songwriter Paul Jason Klein with Les Priest and drummer Jake Goss after time on the Nashville circuit, the band first found an audience online with soft-focus synths, treated guitars and close-mic vocals that flirt with dream pop and R&B. The self-titled debut in 2017 set a taste for direct hooks and atmospheric textures; Malibu Nights (2018) pared things back to piano-led ballads. Mama’s Boy (2020) leaned into American pop-rock shades, while gg bb xx (2021) tightened a concise, radio-minded writing style.

Now a duo since 2022, LANY centers Klein’s writing and Goss’s crisp, economical drumming, leaving room for occasional collaborations and a live setup designed for theatres. On stage, they weave early haze with later, bigger-shouldered choruses, balancing glossy synth glow and spare piano moments with unvarnished stories of city nights and tangled relationships. Their shows typically span intimate slow-burners and uptempo cuts, focusing on clarity, melody and a clean, modern sound.
