Amble

Amble play Live at the Docklands, Limerick Docks, Limerick, Ireland, on 20 August 2026. The Irish trio moves between contemporary folk and indie folk, building songs around close vocal harmonies and acoustic guitars. Launched online in the early 2020s, the project then took shape on stage in small venues across Ireland, keeping arrangements lean and tempos measured.

Live, the center of gravity is the voice: layered lines that interlock and leave space for lyrics about relationships, vulnerability and the everyday, written in clear, direct language. The writing favors simple structures, melodies sung together or in call-and-response, and a warm acoustic palette that stays close to folk tradition while speaking in a current idiom. The set unfolds in a light configuration — three musicians, close mics, guitars — where nuance matters more than volume, and where the room’s dynamics carry as much weight as the instrumentation.
