Info
Panchiko land at Vicar Street in Dublin on 31 October 2026 with the hazy indie they honed in late-90s Nottingham. First known to a tiny circle through CD-R releases — the shoegaze-brushed D>E>A>T>H>M>E>T>A>L (2000) and Kicking Cars (2001) — their songs blend saturated guitars, discreet electronics and a soft, melancholic vocal line. Long dormant, the project resurfaced years later as those recordings quietly spread online, leading to reissues and a return to the stage. Since then, the trio have taken this material through UK, European and North American tours and expanded it with new tracks, captured on the 2023 album Failed at Math(s). Live, Panchiko slide between dreamy pop drift and grainy lo-fi edges, folding in synth textures without losing the guitar core. The set connects early tracks with recent pieces, tracing a straight line from bedroom CD-Rs to a sound tightened for the room.
