Bleachers

Bleachers, the project led by songwriter and producer Jack Antonoff, lands at the 3Olympia Theatre in Dublin on 30 November 2026 with a sound forged between New Jersey and New York. Built on a blend of indie pop, alternative rock, synth-pop and 80s new wave, the songs move between lean ballads and big, direct hooks, circling themes of memory, family and suburban snapshots. What began as a studio-first vision becomes a fuller, communal thing on stage: an expanded band, brass lines, stacked vocals and arrangements that push the melodies forward without losing their lived-in grain. The set draws across the catalogue — Strange Desire (2014), the diaristic turns of Gone Now (2017), the heartland pull of Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night (2021) with nods to Bruce Springsteen and a brush with Lana Del Rey, and the self-titled 2024 album balancing modern pop production with warm analog textures. Between tightly written verses and open-armed refrains, Bleachers plays the contrast: intimate storytelling, rhythmic drive and a collective release shaped on the road.
