On 16 August 2026 at Klub Kwadrat in Kraków, Rose Tattoo brings its hard rock cut to the bone, shaped in the pubs of Sydney since 1976. Led by singer Angry Anderson, the band forged a sound rooted in blues rock, tight riffs and slide guitar, first caught on tape with producers Vanda & Young across Rose Tattoo, Assault & Battery, Scarred for Life and Southern Stars. Their songs go straight to the point, built for the stage and for chorus lines that bite; Guns N’ Roses even took on Nice Boys. After breaks and comebacks, the group added Pain (2002) and Blood Brothers (2007) to the run, then revisited its early material on Outlaws (2020). Inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006, Rose Tattoo keeps its focus on a raw, unvarnished rock’n’roll pulse.
Opening, Hamburg’s Velvet Rush leans into a gritty yet melodic blend of 70s hard rock, bluesy swagger and a hint of psyche and soul. Fronted by Sandra Lian with Dennis Henning on guitar, Tim Black on bass and Tom Zeschke on drums, the quartet chisels thick guitars over a solid rhythm section and a direct, upfront vocal line. The band surfaced with Euphonia in 2024, recorded at Chameleon Studios with producer Eike Freese, then stepped up live with dates supporting Jerry Cantrell and a stop at Rockharz. Trail of Gold followed in August 2025, confirming an approach that favors compact, stage-ready songs.
