Info
Metallica brings the M72 World Tour to Stadion Śląski in Chorzów on 19 May 2026. Formed in 1981 around James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich, with Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo, the band helped shape thrash metal and kept evolving across decades. From the early run of Kill ’Em All, Ride the Lightning and Master of Puppets to the self-titled Black Album, then Load/Reload, St. Anger, Death Magnetic and Hardwired… to Self-Destruct, today’s set folds in 72 Seasons, connecting past and present with a catalog built for big stages.
Gojira, from Bayonne, brings a different angle: technical weight, progressive structures and an ecological thread running through the lyrics. Led by the Duplantier brothers, the quartet broke out internationally with From Mars to Sirius, then The Way of All Flesh, L’Enfant Sauvage, Magma and Fortitude. Live, tight grooves and thick riffs drive songs that balance impact and detail.
Knocked Loose completes the bill with a hardcore strain that leans into metalcore and beatdown. Emerging from Kentucky with the EP Pop Culture and the debut Laugh Tracks, the group pushed toward a denser, darker sound on A Different Shade of Blue and the narrative EP A Tear in the Fabric of Life, before the 2024 album You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To. The set blends abrupt tempo cuts, dissonant riffs and Bryan Garris’s raw, cutting delivery.
