Agnes Obel

Agnes Obel brings her intimate blend of chamber pop, folk and classical shades to Opera Leśna in Sopot, Poland, on 29 July 2026. Copenhagen-born and Berlin-based, the composer, pianist and singer has built a singular language around the piano, close-knit vocal harmonies and a small constellation of strings. From the bare melodies of Philharmonics and the string-driven textures of Aventine to the identity play of Citizen of Glass and the circling motifs of Myopia, her writing favors clarity, repetition and subtle shifts in tone.
