On 15 July 2026 at Gæsten in Allinge-Sandvig, a double bill brings together Soleima and School of X.
Aarhus-born singer and songwriter Soleima (Sarah Mariegaard) shapes a pop approach that leans into hip-hop and alternative R&B: clipped rhythms, textured electronics, and a clear, upfront voice carrying compact songs. After time with Danish hip-hop collective Flødeklinikken, she stepped out solo with My Boi in 2015, followed by the EPs NO. 14 (2017) — including Cracks and Breathe with Kranium and Hoodboi — and Bulldog (2018). Her debut album Powerslide arrived in 2020 on Big Beat Records, leading to a first US tour, and Nationens Skrammer in 2023 opened the door to collaborations with Lord Siva and Artigeardit while keeping a tight pop format.
School of X is the project of Copenhagen musician Rasmus Littauer, first known as a drummer and close collaborator of MØ. Under this banner he pursues an indie pop language that blends alternative pop, art-pop touches and introspective songwriting: centered vocals, melodic guitars, discreet synths and flexible grooves that shift from slow ballads to more electronic tracks. The EPs Faded.Dream (2017) and Destiny (2019) set the tone, followed by Armlock (2020), Dancing Through the Void (2021) and Earthly Life (2023), a run that balances intimate writing with broader, synthetic textures on stage either with a full band or in a more pared-back setup.
