La Yegros

La Yegros will perform at Le Bikini in Ramonville-Saint-Agne on April 29, 2027. A leading figure of nu-cumbia, the Argentine singer blends the popular rhythms of the northeast (cumbia, chamamé, carnavalito) with contemporary electronic textures. On stage, deep bass, Latin percussion and straightforward melodies intertwine; her voice leads the dance and hooks the listener from the first moments. You’ll hear her signature tracks Viene de mí and Chicha Roja alongside pieces from Viene de mí, Magnetismo and Suelta, all played with a constant balance between tradition and modernity.

Raised between Buenos Aires and Misiones, La Yegros has built a sound that moves from clubs to festivals, presented in an adaptable band format. The set unfolds in waves, shifting between ska- or reggae-tinged pulses, pop-hip-hop nods and motifs borrowed from South American folk. The arrangements give the coastal Argentine melodies room to breathe, while the electronics provide a taut, danceable framework. It’s a live show conceived for movement, where popular song finds a renewed resonance.
