Les musiques de John Williams et Hans Zimmer

New program. On 27 February 2027 at 7:00 PM at Arena Futuroscope, The Music of John Williams and Hans Zimmer in Symphonic Concert is back on the bill. The program includes: Interstellar, Jurassic Park, The Dark Knight, Harry Potter, Inception, Star Wars and Pirates of the Caribbean. Rediscover film music performed on stage by more than 70 musicians.

Under the baton of conductor Nicolas Simon, the Yellow Socks Orchestra, a French symphony orchestra specialized in film music, will perform works by John Williams and Hans Zimmer live.

John Williams helped renew film music as early as the 1970s. The longtime composer for Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, he wrote the scores for E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws and Indiana Jones. A recipient of 5 Academy Awards with 54 nominations, his work spans generations.

Hans Zimmer, a German-born composer who became an American citizen, has developed a style that blends orchestral arrangements with electronic sonorities. His collaborations include The Dark Knight, Inception and Interstellar with Christopher Nolan, and Gladiator with Ridley Scott. He has been awarded 2 Academy Awards.

The program runs approximately two hours. The composers will not be present on stage. Their works will be performed live by the Yellow Socks Orchestra under the direction of Nicolas Simon.

The Yellow Socks Orchestra is a French symphony orchestra specialized in film music, founded in 2015 by the production company uGo&Play and placed under the musical direction of Nicolas Simon.
