Telenova

Telenova is a Melbourne trio led by Filipino-Australian singer and filmmaker Angeline Armstrong, alongside multi-instrumentalists Edward Quinn and Joshua Moriarty. Their cinematic-leaning alt-pop blends trip-hop, electronica and indie songwriting: dark textures, supple rhythms and a vocal front and center. From the EP Tranquilize and its track “Bones” to the 2024 album Time Is a Flower, the band has been honing a repertoire where clear hooks and nocturnal atmospheres play off each other.

On stage, Telenova favors dynamics over flash: tension builds, there are moments to breathe, and transitions are carefully crafted. Echoes of 90s Bristol sit alongside contemporary pop, with precise arrangements that hold up live. Having played Australian festivals, venues across the UK and Europe, and supported artists such as girl in red and St. Vincent, they arrive in Paris with a set that emphasizes their sense of storytelling.
