On November 5, 2026 at the Opéra Berlioz in Montpellier, Laurent Voulzy returns to the stage with a concert focused on his polished pop and choral harmonies. After his intimate cycle of performances in cathedrals and churches across France, Belgium and Switzerland, he comes back with a set that blends acoustic and electric, supple guitars, intricately woven vocal harmonies and his taste for Anglo‑American pop that has run through his writing since the beginning. The programme features songs that have accompanied so many moments — from "Rockollection" to "Le Soleil Donne", from "Belle‑Île‑en‑Mer" to "Marie‑Galante" — and also includes more recent pieces where hints of medieval textures and Atlantic voyages borrowed from Lys & Love and Belem surface. A guitarist, singer‑songwriter and longtime musical partner of Alain Souchon, Voulzy cultivates the art of a clear, meticulously detailed melody, moving between dreamy ballads and brighter rhythmic pulses.
