Why So Serious brings Alfred Heinrichs back for a special event: on 8 May 2026 at the Rakete in Nuremberg. Long associated with the WSS nights, the Berlin-based artist returns with a set that brings his club-oriented, melodically-tinged techno language to the dancefloor and seeks a direct connection with the audience.
Heinrichs began in the late 2000s as part of the duo Heinrichs & Hirtenfellner and subsequently developed his solo career. As founder of Supdub and IAM Melodic Techno, he has helped shape a sound between techno and melodic house, where driving grooves meet catchy hooks and occasional vocals. His productions and collaborations—such as the joint album with Haexxa from 2022—fuel sets that hold together pressure and melody without losing the club focus.
The frame is provided by the Why So Serious residents, who appropriately open and accompany the evening. Nuremberg, Rakete, 8 May 2026: focused techno, plenty of movement, no detours.
