Mau P « Baddest Behaviour »

On 12 August 2026 at Pacha Ibiza, Mau P presents his concept Baddest Behaviour. Under that name, Amsterdam native Maurits Westveen focuses on club-ready house and tech house: elastic basslines, chopped vocals and direct structures aimed at efficiency on the dancefloor. He broke through with “Drugs From Amsterdam,” and followed up with “Tesla,” “Like I Like It” and a rework of “The Less I Know The Better” that has become an anticipated moment in his sets. He also knows how to branch into more melodic and techno textures, as on “Metro,” co-produced with Kevin de Vries for Afterlife.

On stage, Mau P favors quick transitions, tight grooves and edits that hook without weighing things down, alternating rolling tech-house grooves and short vocal hooks. The dynamic rests on rhythmic tension and precise drops, designed to keep the room moving. Between his own cuts and sharply curated selections, he draws a clear line between club energy and efficient minimalism, with a sonic signature identifiable from the first bars.
