Les Fatals Picards

On November 6, 2026, at Espace Yves Roques in Decazeville, Les Fatals Picards arrive with what has been their trademark since the early 2000s: a tight blend of alternative rock, French chanson and tongue-in-cheek humor, carried by a socially aware perspective that runs through their lyrics without any posturing. Brought to the wider public’s attention at Eurovision 2007 with “L’amour à la française,” they have since released a string of records — Pamplemousse mécanique, Coming Out, Le sens de la gravité, Country Club — and honed a satirical writing style nourished by self-deprecation. On stage this translates into songs that follow one another, catchy riffs, well-crafted backing vocals and punchlines that hit the mark. Between whimsy, portraits of everyday life and measured barbs, the band returns to its natural territory: a direct, rhythmic live show designed for the venue and the audience. An opening act will kick off the evening.
