The Black Keys: Peaches 'n Kream

The Black Keys bring Peaches ’n Kream to Alcatraz in Milan on 11 September 2026. Formed in Akron, Ohio, Dan Auerbach (guitar, vocals) and Patrick Carney (drums) have carved a sound that threads blues rock, garage grit and alternative textures. Early records like The Big Come Up, Thickfreakness and Rubber Factory leaned on lo‑fi immediacy, abrasive riffs and dry drums. After a break, they returned to a more direct punch on Let’s Rock, then nodded to Mississippi roots on Delta Kream before Dropout Boogie and Ohio Players pushed fresh songs back into the set. On stage, The Black Keys play mainly as a duo, sometimes flanked by additional musicians, building on repeating motifs, mid‑tempo grooves and a stripped, electric blues drive. The show at Alcatraz lines up that trajectory in one place: raw basement blues, taut garage cuts and the more expansive turns of the 2010s through their recent releases, played with the unfussy clarity that defines the band.
