Under the name French 79, Marseille producer Simon Henner develops a solo language where synth-pop, slow house and motorik pulses meet cinematic textures. On April 1, 2027 at Alcatraz in Milan, he draws from Olympic, Joshua and Teenagers, building with layered keyboards, gradual rises and firm rhythms. After his start with the electro-rock trio Nasser, he balances a live mindset with a precise sense of arrangement, carrying his tracks from concert format to club feel. The set moves in long arcs, with arpeggios, pads and sequenced bass lines taking the lead; mostly instrumental, guided by hooks that land without forcing the beat. On stage he shapes the sound in real time, tightening the groove, opening space, then letting momentum carry. A night tuned for listeners who like melody up front and motion underneath.
