Reliance Tour 2026: on 26 November 2026 at L’Usine in Istres, Soen brings back its melodic yet dark progressive metal. Formed in Stockholm in 2010 around drummer Martin Lopez and Joel Ekelöf’s clean vocals, the band has refined a language of polymetric rhythms, taut riffs and spacious arrangements, where dynamics take precedence over showmanship. On stage, the tension of the guitars intersects with more open passages carried by keyboards and vocals, in a carefully crafted balance from Cognitive to Tellurian, then through Lykaia, Lotus and Imperial. The tighter song structures of Memorial occupy a central place here, while Atlantis offers glimpses of rearranged, more intimate versions of certain tracks. The set unfolds as a journey through these different periods, with a precise sound, sharp contrasts and a sense of detail that highlights the vocal nuances and the band’s cohesion.
