The Strokes

The Strokes will be in Paris on 22 October 2026 at the Accor Arena. The New Yorkers are coming to present Reality Awaits, their seventh album due on 26 June 2026, with the single “Going Shopping” already circulating. On stage, the quintet delivers its dry, taut rock—somewhere between indie, garage and post‑punk—interlocking guitars, a steady beat and nonchalant vocals. The concert promises a back-and-forth between new material and the tracks that shaped their career, from Is This It to Room on Fire, via the more new‑wave turns of Angles and Comedown Machine up to The New Abnormal.

Formed in 1998 in New York, Julian Casablancas, Nick Valensi, Albert Hammond Jr., Nikolai Fraiture and Fabrizio Moretti honed this concise songwriting from the EP The Modern Age. Since then, each record has widened their scope without losing the band’s nervy DNA. At the Accor Arena, The Strokes reconnect with their original sound while opening a new chapter with Reality Awaits, for a set in which cutting riffs and more synthetic textures play off each other.
