French 79, also known as Simon Henner, will take over the Zénith de Paris on March 27, 2027, at La Villette. From Marseille, he has developed a solo project at the crossroads of melodic electronics and distinctly pop songwriting, blending synth-pop, mid‑tempo house, motorik pulses and cinematic atmospheres. Often instrumental, his tracks advance through layers of keyboards and patient builds, driven by clean rhythms that make you want to move without letting go of attentive listening.

First noticed with Nasser, Henner laid the foundations of French 79 with Olympic (2016), before broadening the palette on Joshua (2019) and Teenagers (2023). These records reveal his way of making synths breathe, of constructing themes that settle in, and of opening structures without losing the thread.
