Ben Mazué

On 12 November 2026 at the Zénith Nantes Métropole, Ben Mazué unfolds on stage his singular way of blending pop song and spoken text. This Zénith run brings together songs drawn from 33 ans, La femme idéale and Paradis, with highly personal writing nourished by fragments of life and observations of the everyday. The concert is constructed like a narrative: melodic numbers, passages close to spoken word and asides that create a genuine intimacy, even in a large venue.

A physician by training who became a singer-songwriter, and who came up through the slam scene before being spotted in Les Inrocks’ CQFD competition, he has honed an art of the precise word and unadorned storytelling. On stage he favors precise arrangements, a clear voice and a tempo that lets the stories breathe. Between confidences, understated humour and refrains that linger, the live show weaves a continuous narrative thread, with a few nods to his collaborations. It is a meeting at the crossroads of song and spoken word, conceived to be experienced together.
