Info
Temples land in Barcelona on 22 November 2026 for a concert at Paral•lel 62. The British band, formed in Kettering in 2012 as a home project by James Bagshaw and Thomas Walmsley, has refined a neo-psychedelic vision where bright guitars, layers of synths and vocal harmonies coexist. With Adam Smith and a drummer who later changed from Samuel Toms to Rens Ottink, they shaped a quartet that found its identity from the first singles, “Shelter Song” and “Colours to Life,” heirs to the 1960s psychedelia of The Beatles, Pink Floyd and The Doors.
From their debut Sun Structures (2014) to Exotico (2023), via Volcano (2017) and Hot Motion (2019), the group has broadened its sonic palette toward wider textures and denser arrangements, without losing the melodic drive that places them alongside the new-wave psych-pop of the past decade.
Live, Temples tend to traverse stages: from the hypnotic sheen of their early work to the subtler hues of more recent material, with motorik rhythms, spiraling guitars and enveloping keyboards. At Paral•lel 62 they are expected to deliver a set that spans their discography and may include material from 2026, featuring a contemporary production anchored in the psychedelic tradition that defines them.
