On October 27, 2026, at Théâtre Fairmount in Montreal, The Limiñanas will be performing their pop-tinged psychedelic garage. The duo from Cabestany, formed by Marie and Lionel Limiñana, has shaped a self-produced sound in the spirit of the home studio: straight drum-machine beats, repetitive basslines, fuzz guitars and spoken-sung vocals. From their eponymous debut (2010) to De Pelicula (2021) with Laurent Garnier, and including Crystal Anis, Costa Blanca, Malamore and Shadow People, the band has followed a continuous trajectory, nourished by collaborations, original compositions and compilations of rarities. On stage, the material thickens, between motorik pulses and melodies that linger.
Native Sun completes the bill. The band comes to intersect its vision of rock with that of The Limiñanas, for an evening centered on guitars and tight rhythms.
