Superheaven

Superheaven brings its dense, melody-led take on heavy alt rock to Le Studio TD in Montréal on 24 May 2026. Born in Doylestown, Pennsylvania in 2008 under the name Daylight, the band carved out a space between 90s-grunge weight, melodic post-hardcore and the emo revival, with thick, buzzing guitars and vocals that favor a dry, weary tone. Around core members Taylor Madison, Jake Clarke and Joe Kane, the group moved from early EPs to Jar (2013), then sharpened the formula with Ours Is Chrome (2015), recorded with Will Yip and built on slow-burning rhythms and clipped tension.

Back on the road more steadily since 2022, Superheaven has folded recent tracks Long Gone and Numb to What Is Real into a set that pulls across their catalog and the 2025 self-titled. On stage, the tempos stay unhurried, riffs land heavy, and hooks surface through the haze, trading frantic release for pressure-and-relief dynamics. Expect a sequence that threads thick, down-tuned churn with moodier, cleaner passages, pacing from glacial grooves to punchier bursts without losing focus.
