Info
Joseph Kamel, a French-Egyptian singer-songwriter, moves between French chanson and pop with folk inflections. With vocals front and center and guitar at the heart of the sound, he relates fragments of life through direct, narrative lyrics. He broke through with his debut album Miroirs, released in 2023 and certified gold, which established songs such as "Celui qui part," "Beau" (with Julien Doré) and "Ton regard." In 2026 he opens a new chapter with "Crash," the first single from a forthcoming second album that leans more toward contemporary pop while retaining a taste for storytelling.
At Le Splendid in Saint-Quentin on 7 November 2026, Joseph Kamel will present this new cycle by revisiting Miroirs and unveiling previously unheard material. On stage he favors a compact format and spare arrangements that let the voice breathe. The rhythm section frames the melodies, the guitar guides the transitions, and the songwriting remains front and center. Between intimate ballads and more rhythmic passages, the set draws a clear line: to tell, without detour, stories that strike true, with a stage presence honed over successive tours. An evening to grasp where the artist stands today and where he is taking his songs tomorrow.
