Magic System

Magic System celebrates 30 years of career on February 7, 2027 at the Zénith de Dijon. Born in the late 1990s in the Anoumabo neighbourhood of Abidjan, the quartet A’Salfo, Manadja, Goudé and Tino brought zouglou to francophone stages, with collective vocals, stories of everyday life and rhythms designed for dancing. From "Papitou" and "Premier Gaou" to an African pop nourished by afro-dance, urban music and coupé-décalé accents, the group has broadened its palette without breaking with its roots.

On stage, Magic System brings generations together with chorused refrains and a steady pulse. For this anniversary tour, the group revisits three decades of songs that have travelled far beyond Abidjan: "Premier Gaou", "Bouger Bouger", "Magic in the Air", as well as tracks that recount their journey between Côte d’Ivoire, France and international stages. The zouglou matrix remains at the heart of the set, driven by a rhythm section made for dancing and direct arrangements that get straight to the point.
