Magic System

Magic System celebrates three decades of career with a date at the Zénith de Rouen, in Le Grand-Quevilly, on 19 February 2027. Born in Abidjan, the quartet A’Salfo, Manadja, Goudé and Tino bring their zouglou back to its roots: everyday stories, chorused refrains and a rhythmic approach that encourages movement and a sense of collectivity. The group revisits songs that have spread far beyond Ivory Coast, from Premier Gaou to Bouger Bouger, including Magic in the Air, and mixes in more recent tracks influenced by afro-dance, African pop and urban touches without breaking the link to the zouglou matrix.

On stage, the setup favors live effectiveness: vocals supported by the collective, catchy guitars and keyboards, and percussion that sets the tempo and a gentle trance. This anniversary tour condenses an immediately identifiable sound shaped between Abidjan, France and Francophone stages, with a few nods to their collaborations. It is a return to the fundamentals of Magic System, conceived to share the energy of thirty years of chorused refrains.
