Zinée

After the release of her album OSMIN in 2024, singer and rapper Zinée presents a new EP titled BIL, a symbol of rebirth and a change of direction. Across seven tracks imbued with the humanity that defines her, she wipes the slate clean, sheds the burdens that at times held back her urge to create, and frees herself, both musically and personally.

For BIL, Zinée surrounded herself with a small team of three musicians who are also her friends: Canadian pianist and versatile artist Chilly Gonzales; multi-platinum beatmaker Freaky Joe (SCH, Djadja & Dinaz, SDM, Kekra); and producer Empty7, author of solo projects and collaborations with rapper Django. From this creative energy emerged music that shifts between darker shades and brighter sonorities, between memory and a desire to move forward. Zinée confronts the obstacles she has faced, revisits childhood and nostalgia to draw inspiration, and follows the quest for happiness that drives her.
