Raphaël

Raphaël arrives at Le Pin Galant in Mérignac on December 3, 2026 with Karaoké, a production he wrote and performs, conceived with Cyril Teste. On stage he moves between guitar, piano and voice, surrounded by a team built for dizzying theatrical effect: actress Laetitia Spigarelli, Marc Chouarain on keyboards, the cristal Baschet and saxophone, Aymeric Westrich on drums, and Hagar Ben-Ari on double bass.

Karaoké is not a conventional concert. Raphaël converses with the AI on his phone, gets lost among his own songs, ghostly cover versions and surfacing mental images. This taut thread carries him on an inward journey where childhood memories, family silhouettes, guiding figures like Bowie or Johnny, and a few real or imagined crashes mingle. The staging plays with illusion and the screen, making the line between lived experience and fabrication wobble—between humour and vertigo, poetry and technological satire. Here, each song becomes a door opening onto another facet of the narrative. It is a free, musical and visual format in which Raphaël probes his own relationship to the stage, the fear of stepping out without a safety net and the desire, perhaps, to drop his armor.
