Thornhill

On June 17, 2026 at L’Autre Canal in Nancy, Thornhill arrive from Melbourne with a metalcore that plays on contrasts: heavy riffs and driving grooves, tension-building passages and moments of respite, clean vocals that rub up against more abrasive sections. Born on the Australian heavy scene, the band first laid down a modern, slightly progressive foundation with The Dark Pool (2019), before moving toward a more alternative edge on Heroine (2022), which brings echoes of 1990s–2000s rock and nu metal, more developed textures and broader vocal lines.

On stage, Thornhill emphasize dynamics and atmosphere: sharp breaks, atmospheric layers and choruses conceived for the room. The set draws from The Dark Pool and Heroine, while also making room for recent singles “Viper Room” and “Obsession.” Released in 2024, the live album Live On Tour! captures that energy recorded in real conditions at venues around the globe. Seasoned by tours with Silent Planet, Polaris and Northlane, the band arrive in Nancy with a show where the weight of the guitars, catchy melodies and cinematic moods intersect.
