Miki - Tournée

Miki will perform at Paloma in Nîmes on November 5, 2026 with an electronic pop that strikes a line between candor and darker undertones. A Franco-Korean singer-songwriter-performer born in Nice and raised in Luxembourg, she grew up at the conservatory between piano and violin before going to London to study film. From there a hybrid language imposed itself, where machines, keyboards and images answer one another — all produced and directed by her.

On stage, Miki unfolds a bilingual French-English songwriting voice, direct and precise, set on sharp rhythms and textures that range from minimal to abrasive. Expect her tracks “Échec et mat” and “Cartoon Sex,” the contours of her first EP Graou (March 2025), as well as pieces linked to Industry Plant, announced for autumn 2025. Her voice moves between registers and moods, carried by arrangements that leave room for both words and silences, with a narrative sense that draws on her multiple origins.

Mikaela Duplay, her given name, conceives the live show as an extension of her visual universe: tight editing, attention to detail, and a play of contrasts. It’s an approach in which sound and image advance together, without unnecessary effects, as close as possible to her stories.
