As Florence Mendez herself would say, you can never tell stupid people often enough that they’re stupid. In this stand-up, she revisits a journey strewn with obstacles. With her trademark biting retorts and quick wit, she tells the story of a young woman whom neither being rejected for her differences nor mental illness managed to stop. She takes aim at norms and stupidity with sharp punchlines.
Florence Mendez has won several comedy competitions, including the one at the Voo Rire Festival in Liège. She was noticed in Montreux, which led to her working as a columnist on the Téva channel for the talk show Piquantes!, hosted by Nicole Ferroni. Since 2024, she has joined Guillaume Meurice’s team on the show La Dernière on Radio Nova.
