Info

Highly Suspect brings The Tour of Yellow Roses to History in Toronto on May 23, 2026. Born on the Cape Cod scene before settling in Brooklyn, the trio — Johnny Stevens with brothers Rich and Ryan Meyer — has shaped a sound at the crossroads of alternative rock, hard rock and blues rock with a grunge tint. Early EPs The Worst Humans and Black Ocean led to Mister Asylum and The Boy Who Died Wolf, two records that set a direct, melodic framework. With MCID in 2019, the band folded hip-hop, pop and electronic elements into the mix without dropping its rock core, then tightened the approach on The Midnight Demon Club in 2022 and carried on with As Above, So Below in 2024. Live, they lean on dense guitars, tense rhythms and a vocal tone that cuts through.

Support comes from Dead Poet Society. Formed in Boston by Berklee alumni Jack Underkofler, Jack Collins, Will Goodroad and Dylan Brenner, the quartet works a taut alternative rock fed by grunge, hard rock and noise textures. After the EPs Axiom, Weapons and Dempsey, they broadened the format on the album -!- in 2021, then refined it with Fission in 2024. Their writing balances heavy riffs, melodic vocal lines and a tight rhythm section, at the edge between modern rock and post-grunge.
